This is my very favorite season for living as close as we do to downtown Northampton. The weather gets crisper and more comfortable in the afternoon hours, and all I want to do is be outside! A few evenings ago, Kristie and I lightly bundled up the baby (I knit his hat with this pattern, one of my favorites) and wandered downtown. We perused the Retro Fair (which was held behind Thornes Marketplace), then picked up dinner and brought it to Pulaski Park, where we turned our fledgling crawler loose for a little while.
La Boa Brava had a stand at the fair. Their jewelry was so pretty.
I love Pulaski Park. It was just redone – four-ish years ago, I think? It's such a pleasant, cool space. Sometimes they show outdoor movies here; we came to see Star Wars for my birthday a few years ago.
Miles watched bigger kids play, and tried to sneak wood chips into his mouth when he thought we weren't looking.
