My original plan was to make the list of favorite products during my third trimester as long as my lists for the first and second – but then I had a baby and immediately forgot all the other things I'd meant to include in this post.
So here are the four that stand out in my memory – four of the most important things I relied on for comfort, and well, more comfort during the last three months of my pregnancy. Sexy they are not. Crucial? In my experience, absolutely!
- Kristie came home from work one day with a bath pillow for me. I used it that night, and cried. With my head cradled and my body suspended in the warm (not hot) water, my body felt the best it had since before I'd been pregnant. I still use it, I can't go back!
- It wasn't long into my pregnancy before my very favorite most comfy bra didn't fit anymore. I tried maternity and nursing bras, but I really just missed what I'd been able to wear before. Enter bra extenders! I got to keep wearing my favorite bra for the rest of my pregnancy.
- Helloooo heartburn. By the end, I was eating Tums after almost every meal and again before bed. (My doctor said the old wives' tale was true, and sure enough, Miles was born with a full head of hair!)
- My life really became all about comfort. These panties were highly recommended by moms in my due date Facebook group, and I loved them, too. Super soft!
Not pictured: Netflix; someone to tie your shoes; an exercise ball to bounce on.
