What's going on around here
My wife Kristie and I drove to Virginia last week to visit her family and celebrate the coming arrival of our little boy. The shower was amazing and we returned with a full car and even fuller hearts.
The Green Valley Book Fair was also open while we were there and I fed my current hunger for memoirs, bringing home Call the Midwife, How to Grow Up by Michelle Tea (her series about getting pregnant is one of my favorites), and You're Never Weird on the Internet (Almost) by Felicia Day.
I'm trying to knit Christmas stockings for the three of us – having never knit a sock before. It's been frustrating but I'm going to keep trying.
Thank you for your comments and responses to the post explaining why we're not going to share pictures of our baby's face on the Internet. We're exploring different ways to share photos with family and friends, and keep getting recommendations for Tiny Beans (that's a referral link if you want to try).
