What's going on around here:
Ever since K's dad passed, we've been watching "The Great British Baking Show" like crazy. It's the perfect lighthearted distraction. And now I want to bake more, too! I stayed up late one night last week and made gluten-free bagels. They didn't rise quite right (it was pretty cold in my kitchen in retrospect), but they were still yummier than any GF bagel I've eaten over the last five years. Plus Trader Joe's now sells something called Everything But the Bagel spice, which is made up of all the tasty stuff on top of everything bagels. That was a real treat!
I want to go to the movies this weekend. We're torn between Hidden Figures and Get Out. Also looking forward to: a little game night with pals, lots of sleeping in, maybe starting a new knitting project.
