I think I'm experiencing a slight obsession with transparent holiday ornaments this year! This DIY is quick and easy – all you need is a fillable transparent ornament and a paint pen, plus teeny tiny gifts wrapped in tissue paper.
Write "do not open til xmas" on one half of the ornament. (If you mess up, the pen comes off with water and a little scrubbing.)
Fill it with little gifts wrapped in tissue paper! (I picked up the enamel pin, lip balm, and mini dinosaurs from Cedar Chest, where Kristie works.)

I was disappointed when I didn't find them under the tree, but happened to glance up – my parents Santa had nestled a sunglasses-sized present in the boughs of the Christmas tree! I wore those glasses pretty much non-stop for...a little too long.
Searching for teeny gifts for this DIY was a fun little challenge. What would you add? I was thinking about a piece of jewelry too, and it occurred to me this would be a very Christmas-y way to propose to somebody...
