Working in higher ed finally paid off this week! (Just kidding, I love my job for a ton of other reasons.) BUT! I finally had a snow day on Monday. Of course, it's April now, and snow and low temps are totally unwelcome, but I did get to spend the day in my PJ's doing housework. I know, thrilling, right?! But it's exactly what I needed. I love having time to do laundry, clean, cook, and all that other shit by myself. It makes me feel so settled and connected to my home. Fingers crossed for more of that this weekend!

Now that Kristie and I have been together for what, 10 years? I'm finally knitting her a sweater. I'm using this pattern and skipping the front pocket. I love how simple it is! This might turn out to be the best sweater yet.
We had so much fun with Kristin visiting this past weekend! It's awesome just having her around :) And having out-of-town guests is such a wonderful excuse to play tourist in your own town.
I'm excited for a hopefully quiet weekend spent on new projects and finalizing some upcoming bachelor/ette parties I'm planning!
