I'm so excited to share this post with you! I've been brainstorming for weeks, and picked five of my favorite female icons to emulate for Halloween. Each outfit is so easy (and cheap) to put together! I highly recommend heading to your local thrift store to find anything you need for these costumes, but I did provide some links to similar items.
I had such a blast hanging out with Shana from Love & Perry Photography and playing dress-up as some of my favorite sheroes. I can't wait to hear what you think in the comments!
Annie Hall
To dress as Annie Hall for Halloween, you will need:
Dana Scully
To dress like Dana Scully from "The X Files," you will need:
- A blazer (extra points for shoulder pads!)
- Dark pants or a skirt
- Red lipstick
- A badge (just print out one of these and sandwich between packing tape to "laminate")
Nancy Drew
To dress like Nancy Drew, you will need:
Baby from Dirty Dancing
To dress like Frances (a.k.a. Baby) from Dirty Dancing, you will need:
- A pink tank top
- High waisted shorts
- White sneakers
- A watermelon!
Rosie the Riveter
To dress like Rosie the Riveter, you will need:
- High-waisted jeans
- A chambray shirt
- A red kerchief (tied like this)
- Brown ankle boots
- Red lipstick
