We've been drinking lots of tea lately as Kristie is trying to cut back on her soda consumption. I decided to use the leftover clay from this project to make a little hand-shaped teabag rest!
You will need:
- Oven-baking clay (I used this one)
- A rolling pin
- An X-acto knife
Roll two sections of Sculpey clay to 1/4" thickness. Use your X-acto knife to cut out a hand shape. Don't forget lines separating the fingers! Shape the clay into a cup, and bake according to clay instructions.
Cute, yes? We had just been tossing our used tea bags onto paper towels, but I like this better.
And I'm almost done re-reading Little Women for the zillionth time. My parents got me this beautiful edition for Christmas.
