Yum yum! My obsession with French macarons is no secret on this blog. Ever since I got into felting, I knew I wanted to try to make a version of the sweet little sandwich cookie that could last forever. And so our newest Christmas ornaments were born!
You will need at least two different colors of felting wool (one for the cookie, one for the filling) and an all-purpose felting needle. Shape the cookie, then twist the filling wool around the perimeter, felting in place as you go. String through with a needle and a loop of thread.
Now just try not to eat them! Bon appètit!
