I can't say "finally" enough when it comes to the recent change in weather! Even though it's dark and crummy today (and probably will be all weekend), western Massachusetts was treated to some actual sunshine last weekend. It feels like we're right on the edge of summer -- and I need it! The next few weeks are going to be very busy. My five-year reunion starts tonight; commencement at the school where I work happens Sunday; a corporate event I've been planning on the side takes place next week; and then I'm headed to Maine for a workshop. I feel like I'm getting ready to run a marathon. Luckily the rest of the summer is looking pretty relaxed (or if not relaxed, then at least everything's not going to be happening all at once like it is now), and Kristie and I have already staked out the month of August to be as stress-free as possible. No big trips, no big commitments. Maybe a day off here and there to find our way down to a swimming hole. I can't wait!
