I wanted to share these photos of Easter eve/morning before it became, like, officially summer. (And I know it's a very annoying New England thing to complain about the weather all the time, but give me a break! How is it still cold?!)
This Easter was the kind of holiday that matches my childhood memories. My parents had a few different families of extended relatives (and dogs) staying with them, meaning our house was loud and fun! We all dyed eggs the night before Easter, and my brother and sister and I stayed up late to plan an Easter-themed scavenger hunt for our parents. Growing up, they'd always write us clues around the house that eventually led to our hidden Easter baskets. This year, we did it for them!
After Easter breakfast, we headed to my aunt's house in New Haven for a late lunch with even more family members and guests -- 24 total. I didn't take many photos while we were there (although I do have a fun video to show you later in the week), but I wanted to share a few from Easter eve and morning...
