Okay, here we go...I have a major thing for wreaths.
Are you still reading? Good.
I have wreaths for Halloween, Valentine's Day, summer, winter, Christmas...you name it, my front door is decorated for it. It's just nice to come home to something festive, don't you think? No?
Anyway, I had this Easter wreath that I snagged a few years ago from Target's one-dollar section (that area is like a magnet for me). I pulled it out this year to dress the front door and was kind of bummed at how it had aged. (See below...)
Missing eggs, dings and scratches...I was underwhelmed, and decided to make it a little more interesting. I pulled off and threw away the styrofoam eggs it came with, and spray-painted the wreath part bright pink. I grabbed some of those cheap plastic eggs and spray-painted them with approximately a million five or six coats of glitter spray paint.
After it all dried, I just hot-glued the sparkly eggs onto the wreath! It's definitely a lot brighter than...well, anything else around our house, but I like that it matches other items on our porch.
PS - Plaid Easter eggs and patterned Easter eggs.
