I spotted a few determined crocuses outside of the gym the other day, poking out of the cold round in a way that (I couldn't help it!) reminded me of The Night of the Living Dead (the 1968 black-and-white George Romero version for you fellow zombie buffs out there). I had a little giggle while imagining this scene, but replacing the zombie with impending springtime. Spoiler alert: It's coming for you, Barbara. And the signs are everywhere.
Most recently, I saw it in BonLook's new Pastel Spell collection. Not to put too fine a point on it, but I'm a person who generally wears a lot of black. All of a sudden, however, it seemed like there were pretty pastel shades everywhere I looked! And I have to say, I like it. These soft, feminine colors that normally don't get much of a nod in my wardrobe remind me of the sweet Easter dresses I used to wear when I was a little girl.
