I've been indulging my spring- and summer-themed daydreaming quite a bit lately, and was so happy when I stumbled across Public Bikes. These bicycles fit that narrative perfectly! Imagine your vintage dress blowing in the wind, flowers and produce from the farmer's market packed in the basket, ringing your bell at neighbors and friends you pass on Main Street or the bike path. Doesn't it just make you weak?
Aside from the bikes -- which start at $299 -- Public Bikes also sells baskets, helmets that aren't ugly, bags, and bells. I'm going to take on some extra freelancing and hopefully get me one of these babies by the end of summer.
