More snow is coming to New England tonight -- yes, more! No doubt this will be my uniform tomorrow, especially if I have a "snow day" (or the grown-up version: working from home while binge-watching "Scandal").
I almost forgot to tell you...I made a new New Year's resolution! I'm not going to buy any brand new clothes this year. Just secondhand, thrifted, and vintage. I painted my dresser on New Year's Day (part of this project -- "after" photos coming soon!) and was amazed at how much I have. Too much. More than enough. And I certainly don't need to add anything brand new. So I'm limiting myself this year in the interest of saving money, reusing what's already out in the world, and finding great pieces nobody else has. Excluded from the new clothes ban: underwear, socks, tights, bathing suits, and maybe a pair of running shoes if my current ones fall apart. Also gifts (mainly because my parents gave me an Old Navy gift certificate for Christmas that I haven't used yet!).
Did you make a New Year's resolution like this? Got any tips for me?
Hers: H&M sweatshirt, Old Navy jeans, gifted bracelet
Mine: Zara Men sweater (thrifted), leggings from Faces, Breckelle's boots
