Today is the first day I've allowed myself to listen to the Christmas station on Pandora. I couldn't wait any longer...I love this time of year! I think Hannukah falling so early this year is helping foster some extra excitement for the winter holidays. Will you be celebrating Thanksgivukah? I spent some time on the phone with my mom today discussing our family's Thanksgiving plans. I can't wait to get home next week and visit with all my favorite people.

First thing's first, however. This Saturday is Bag Day in Northampton, a special townwide event where lots of stores host great sales you can access by picking up a specially printed paper bag. My three best friends from high school are coming in from Boston and Vermont tonight and then we're partaking in all the Bag Day festivities tomorrow. It's a great opportunity to get Christmas shopping done, or if you're like me and have had your Christmas gift spreadsheet planned out since September, a little gift or two for yourself! I have my eye on a small succulent from Kestrel to go in our bedroom, and a good pair of fleece-lined tights. Great sales and a mini high school reunion? I'm really looking forward to this weekend. Especially if there'll be more Christmas music.
