This holiday season, I'm so thrilled to be partnering with other bloggers committed to giving thoughtful, eco-friendly gifts. And you can play along with this special nationwide Secret Santa I'm co-hosting.
Sign up for the swap and exchange items that are second-hand, handmade, re-used, upcycled, recycled, refashioned, local, and thrifted. Every "used" item you give is one less item that could have ended up in a landfill. Second-hand gifts are special -- someone took the time to hunt for a perfect gift that no traditional retailer could provide.
Sign up by Friday, December 6 by emailing Amanda with your mailing address. You will get your recipient's name and mailing address on Monday, December 9, 2013.
Items must be shipped by December 18, 2013.
There is a $15 limit -- but that's a lot of thrifted goodness!
Ideas for gifts include:
- Antique brooch
- Mismatched stemware with a bottle of local wine

Be creative -- think outside the box! If your recipient has a blog, visit to get a sense of who they are and what they like.
Use vintage cards and wrapping paper if you like -- make sure your gift is presented beautifully!
If you blog, be sure to write a post about your gift with photos.
Merry thriftmas to all and to all a good night!
