My schedule at work was all over the place this week, and I'm staying late again tonight to give a big presentation! Luckily I got to go home early yesterday, go for a long walk with Samson, and actually cook dinner for the first time in a week. (I made this, one of our favorites that has totally made it into the binder, but halfway through realized our Worcestershire sauce had expired. For pretty much the first time in my life I stayed calm and came up with my own substitution: 1 teaspoon of barbecue sauce and 1 teaspoon of gluten-free tamari. It tasted the same!)
I'm running a ton of errands tonight (is anybody else really into that?), and volunteering for the AIDS Walk put on by the AIDS Foundation of Western Massachusetts all day tomorrow. A few friends are coming over tomorrow night to celebrate my birthday, and hopefully we'll find some time for apple-picking on Sunday.
