Our last fire of the year
Lately it feels like weeks have been going by like days. How could it be that we're almost done with October? (How could it be that there are only eight weeks until Christmas?) While I'm excited about my new winter jacket and looking forward to seeing the first snow, I kind of hope winter takes the hint from fall and doesn't hang around for very long.
Before winter comes, though, we've got a lot of traveling to do. Next week Kristie and I head down to Virginia to visit her family, then I'm off to Atlanta in November for a conference, and to New York City in the beginning of December. One final push to go everywhere and see everybody, and then all we have to do for three months is hibernate! I have to say I'm looking forward to having the time to tackle these projects. How are you spending the last few weeks of fall?
