a lovely note + flowers from our backyard to greet me when i got home from work! (the note said we were having hot dogs for dinner. all good love notes should involve hot dogs.)
loving this book. + hammocks. + libraries.
flower seedlings starting in the kitchen. we're growing china asters, iceland poppies, and lemongrass, to hopefully keep mosquitoes at bay this summer.
i don't want to surprise you too much, but here it is: we will be doing very little wedding planning this weekend. we've kind of got things under control! instead, our weekend is full of happy things: an old friend coming for mexican food + margaritas tonight; northampton's lgbt pride parade on saturday, as well as my boss' annual kentucky derby party + a bbq at friend's house; then on sunday, a flea market visit (maybe a farm stand?) + going to go see my brother's girlfriend sasha's film screening. a very full few days that i just can't wait for! what's on deck for you this weekend?
