friday, march 29 was not just the beginning of easter weekend -- it was my dad's birthday! he turned 64. it was awesome to celebrate with everyone. my parents cooked dinner while my brother, sister, kristie + i hung out around the kitchen table. a (good-natured) argument that colored the evening was for whatever reason about neil young's song "sugar mountain," so that's what i picked to go along with a few short clips i shot while dinner was being made. video is something i've wanted to get into for awhile, so i hope you enjoy my first attempt!
*so yeah, we didn't have a "4" candle. 63 + 1 = 64...right?
