real talk: i'm a book nerd. ever since sinking my teeth into the nancy drew series at the ripe old age of 8, it's been unstoppable. nothing's come close to nancy, but i find such pleasure in losing myself in a book -- or my kindle. i know lots of people pick a side here, but i really do love both. the kindle is amazing for travel + i also use it to sample books before getting them from the library when money's tight. anyway, that's why i added reading to my list of 25 things to do before i turn 26. unfortunately a lot of the time this, one of my favorite hobbies in the world, doesn't get much play time in my day-to-day life. i'm really beginning to love this list...it's nice to prioritize the little things that bring me joy.
so, number six (get coffee + read at a coffee shop) has been crossed off. i was at woodstar cafe, had a really delicious latte, and made some headway in "the year of the flood" by margaret atwood. it was a little too science fiction-y for my taste, but entertaining.
