i know i say this all the time, but the past few weeks have been so busy. we're looking forward to doing abolutely nothing this weeked...well, ideally absolutely nothing, but we do have a few things on the schedule, like going to check out a restaurant where we can potentially host our rehearsal dinner. + a ton of laundry.
the reply cards are continuing to arrive. i love seeing those pink envelopes in our mailbox at the end of the day! so far, everybody's coming (we've received 26 replies) + the most popular entree is chicken. but the vegetarian is a close second, in case anybody's curious.
it's snowing again, because it's new england + it feels like it's always snowing. but that's okay. it fits our lazy weekend plan, which will happily begin this afternoon!
a few links i've been loving lately
considering you is proposing a very interesting 2-week health challenge. i'm still on the fence about whether or not i'm going to try it (despite knowing i should). but i love the 30-minute walk in the sun idea. it's nice to see a health challenge balance so well between nutritional/healthy things (like cutting out sugar for a day) with things that are fun + good for you (like watching a funny movie!).
buzzfeed knows me so well: ikea catalogs through the years.
cute photos of dogs? yes please, any time.
i've started keeping track of some useful informationa about blogging.
rent the runway is giving away a dream prom to one high school affected by hurricane sandy, complete with a surprise celebrity appearance, prom dress rentals from rtr, tuxedo rentals from men's wearhouse, beauty services from lancome + dry bar, a dj, photographer, refreshments + more! they're accepting entries through next friday.
another health-related post! nicole from rose runs wild wrote about her quest for health. i love how she frames it not with any kind of weight loss goal, but more about feeling + living better.
