i love the projects posted by the purl bee. we were hoping to get to their brick-and-mortar store, purl soho, while in nyc, but ended up running out of time. luckily, their website is awesome + they post plenty of easy, beautiful patterns -- like the super soft merino snowflake scarf.
i love the look of the cocoknits malabrigo weave scarf + luckily webs (america's largest yarn store, conveniently located literally in my backyard in northampton, ma) has posted the free pattern!
martha to the rescue again! this basic scarf pattern is great for beginners, or an easy one-night wonder for pros.
do you guys use ravelry? it's a great place to find free patterns + you can track your progress + share it with your friends! user heidi may posted her boston cowl pattern...along with some super cute pictures.
can't you see this faux fur snood as the perfect topper to a new year's eve outfit? we spend a lot of time outside on new year's eve...in northampton, they close main street to cars + everyone gathers in the middle of town to watch the ball (mounted atop the hotel northampton) rise at midnight!
i love this cashmere purl stitch snood from j.crew. it's a little on the pricier side, but i can imagine it would look perfect with sweatpants + a t-shirt or a pencil skirt + trench for work!
thomas paul's bison scarf might be the winner. how weird/funky/cool is this?
i think i'm on a turquoise kick. check out ruche's open skies scarf.
