boxwood is one of my dad's favorite plants. he loves it. on a vacation a few years ago, we found some growing at the alhambra in spain, and it put a smile on his face the rest of the day. terrain has the dearest, dark green, simple wreath that would compliment any door.
amy merrick teaches wreath-making classes + sells beautiful handmade decor. i love this one, made of olive branches. what better way to remember that even though this is a busy time of year, it's a peaceful one too?
west elm has these great felt ball wreaths that are made by hand by artisans living in a village outside of kathmandu, nepal. they're a little unusual, but still fun, + remind me of snowballs!
ok speaking of unusual...this one is my favorite. anthropologie's glass wreath is a little on the pricier side, but i can't help think it's worth it. the wreath was created by SkLO studios, a collaboration between a czech glass blower and an american husband-wife design team.
i'm always on the lookout for new ways to use up yarn leftover from other projects; this would be a great way to do it! babble has a great tutorial.
