i never really thought of wallpaper as a viable option for my home decor (it probably had something to do with helping my mother scrape layers of it off our walls as a kid). plus, she said, what she ordered always ended up being different than what she'd imagined. + let's face it, i'm nervous about overpowering a room with loud walls! but i've been browsing wallpaper designs and stencils lately, and...i'm inspired. the patterns and colors are beautiful and while i'm still doubting my ability to pull a room together around some of them, that says more about my design evolution than it does these great papers. what do you think? have you taken the plunge into busy, beautiful, papered walls?
